Our last event, “Soundry Dreaming” on September 27, was a delightful exploration of sounds and dreams. Keep your eyes peeled for future events exploring dreaming!

Welcome to Soundry!

Based in Omaha, NE, Soundry pioneers sound-focused workshops throughout the Midwest, emphasizing the significance of playing, listening, creating, and collaborative work. The program’s diverse offerings include:

  • Soundscaping: Engages participants in creative music composition, constructing unique soundscapes using both traditional and DIY instruments.
  • Instrument Building: Explores hands-on instrument creation, with past projects including didgeridoos, thumb pianos, rain sticks, and various world percussion instruments.
  • Deep Listening: Introduces intensive listening practices, fostering heightened auditory awareness. Upper-level workshops incorporate body work and explore dreaming practices.
  • DIY Music Technology:
Provides accessible workshops on music technology, often with a do-it-yourself (DIY) approach, supporting participants in navigating and utilizing technology creatively.
